Candela V Beam
This pulsed dye laser (PDL) is used to treat a variety of skin conditions including vascular issues such as port wine stains and spider naevi. It works by producing a focused light which is absorbed by the haemoglobin found in the skin. This causes the unwanted vascular vessels to heat up, coagulate and eventually be reabsorbed by the body. This laser is very versatile and can be used to treat conditions like spider veins, rosacea, port wine stains, warts and certain types of pigmentation.
Erbium YAG
This fractional laser is used to target and remove the outer layers of skin. It is used to improve skin concerns, including scars, fine wrinkles, and pigmentation. The laser’s energy targets the water in the skin, which causes controlled vaporization and stimulates skin remodelling.
Lynton Q switch
This laser uses a pulsed, high-energy beam to target and break down pigment in the skin. It is used for tattoo removal, but also for pigmentation issues like age spots and freckles. The laser’s energy breaks down the pigment and/or ink into smaller particles that are then naturally eliminated by the body.
