Do I need a referral from my GP?
Most of our consultants would prefer a referral from your GP, so that they can understand your medical needs and any previous interventions, but it is not always necessary and your consultant will advise.
How long will I have to wait?
Our consultants will aim to offer you an initial appointment at the first available opportunity and your treatment will be scheduled as soon as possible after that.
How much will it cost?
You can see a guide price for all procedures in the [name] section on this website. The final cost will be confirmed following your initial appointment or discussion with your consultant. If any tests, investigations or anaesthesia are required, you will need to pay separately for these.
Can I just book a test?
You need to see a consultant first and they will be able to advise regarding any tests or investigations required for your condition.
How do I make an appointment?
Please contact the private patients team for further information.
Do I get a my own room?
There is no separate private accommodation in our hospitals. Side rooms are allocated based on clinical need and accommodation for most private procedures is likely to be in a single sex bay.
Do you have a private GP service?
We don’t currently offer this service.
What are the payment options?
Please see ‘ways to pay’ for more information
