Egg sac reduction with ICI – if needed
Description
Sometimes during treatment, the ovaries may develop more egg sacs than is safe for insemination. When this happens, a small procedure may be recommended to reduce the number of sacs to lower the risk of multiple pregnancy and keep the treatment as safe as possible. If reduction is required, it is carried out alongside intrauterine insemination (IUI), where prepared sperm is placed directly into the uterus at the optimal time in your cycle.
